September NAUA  Academy Session: “When Our Justice System Fails” with Dr. Joyce Francis Tuesday, September 8th, 4:30 PM PT / 7:30 PM ET

Our justice system is founded on a presumption of innocence until proven guilty, but all too often, false or faulty evidence leads to wrongful convictions.  Once found guilty, there is little room or support for proving doubt.

In this session, we will watch one story in which the falsely accused is ultimately proven innocent and the accuser seeks the forgiveness of the exoneree.  Then we’ll explore the story of the people behind the Innocence Project and the Centurion Ministries who work to uncover these failures in our justice system.
