This is a tour of religious expressions,  statements, or symbols in the genre of popular film from "It's a Wonderful Life" to "The Matrix." Religious in this context means any scene or dialogue that makes sweeping statements about the nature of the world, and it means to be human within it. 

Frank Casper is a novice film lover who, for some reason, views films with an eye toward any occasion of religious depth. He has a Master of Theological Studies from Boston University and is a long-time and now former Unitarian Universalist. He lives in Atlanta GA.
